Born and raised in the Midwest, Chris received his professional five-year Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). Seizing the opportunity to fully immerse himself in his craft, Chris spent a semester abroad to experience iconic European architecture firsthand. After graduating, Chris worked at a large architectural firm in Chicago, where he had the opportunity to work on high-rise, mid-rise, mixed-use, and other commercial buildings. Chris and his family then arrived in Las Vegas in pursuit of their dream of living in a warmer climate. Once in Nevada, he worked as a project manager at an architecture firm concentrating mainly on hospitality and custom home architecture. In February 2018 Chris joined Denton House Design Studio in Las Vegas. There he continues to draw on the foundation of his carpenter beginnings and the 18 years of construction and architecture experience he has gained along the way. As a member of the Mies Van der Rohe Society, Chris believes that architecture has the power to create beauty, promote sustainability, all the while being practical. When not working, you can find Chris spending time with his wife and 3 sons, traveling and donating his time to local volunteer work.
